Since 1994 Green Award has certified worldwide seagoing ships that are extra clean and extra safe. A large number of ports and nautical providers over the globe recognize the value of Green Award. They offer special rates and other advantages to Green Award vessels. The Green Award certificate confirms the high quality of the vessel and contributes to a positive image of the ship owner with all the advantages this entails.

A Green Award certification programme for European inland shipping, derived from the programme for seagoing vessels, has been successfully running for 3 years and continues developing further. Due to the growth of this program, the Green Award bureau is looking for an enthusiastic / flexible

                        Project Assistant Inland Shipping m/f
                                  (20 hours / week )

Tasks and responsibilities:
• Administrative handling of applications and certification procedure for the inland shipping sector
• Planning of inspections of inland navigation vessels
• Assisting with the planning of inspections of seagoing vessels

The successful candidate will:
• Have affinity with and / or experience in the inland shipping sector
• Be accurate
• Have good communication skills
• Be educated at MBO-level and / or have experience with administrative procedures
• Be computer literate including MS Office (Word, Excel en
• Access) and Adobe Acrobat
• Speak English and German (French is an advantage)
• Speak and write the Dutch language fluently
• Have no 9 to 5 mentality
