Rotterdam, 11 September 2025 – Jaegers Shipping has officially joined the Green Award programme as an incentive provider. The leading shipping company is thus underlining its commitment to safe and sustainable inland waterway transport.
Retroactive to 1 September 2025, Jaegers will cover 100% of the certification costs for all vessels associated with Reederei Jaegers GmbH or Jaegers Shipping B.V. This initiative offers shipowners a strong incentive to invest in environmentally friendly technologies and processes.
The Green Award programme recognizes inland vessels that meet the highest standards in terms of quality, safety and environmental compatibility. By creating incentives, Jaegers Shipping is promoting the further greening of the inland shipping sector and taking another step forward in its sustainability strategy.
