DEX Oil becomes new Green Award Incentive Provider

Rotterdam, 16 September 2025 – DEX Oil has joined as a Green Award Incentive Provider. In doing so, the company supports ships that invest in sustainability and responsible entrepreneurship. Green Award-certified inland barges and seagoing vessels can now benefit from attractive advantages in the field of lubricants and technical advice.

Concrete benefits for Green Award ships

Through this collaboration, DEX Oil aims to contribute to a lower environmental impact and higher efficiency in inland shipping. Green Award certified ships will receive:

A discount of 4% on the first delivery of DEX QM PREMIUM LUBRICANT – high-quality lubricants
Guaranteed extended service life of DEX QM engine lubricant (at least three times longer than standard), with the exception of contamination by fuel, coolant, etc.
Free optimization lubrication advice, tailored to specific business operations.
Free oil sampling service during the first year (in consultation with the customer).

Practical experience

Extensive practical tests on board various ships have shown that the use of DEX Oil not only contributes to a cleaner engine but also leads to measurable fuel savings of approximately 3–6%. These results support the expectation that DEX Oil can deliver both economic and ecological benefits.
