Green Award is proud to welcome TransMatch as a new partner. The Belgian chartering and transport company will reimburse 100% of the Green Award certification costs of inland vessels sailing for them.
At the Green Award booth at the Maritime Industry exhibition, the partnership was confirmed with the handing over of the Green Award sign.
Lazlo Albrecht, owner of TransMatch, received the sign from Jan Fransen, executive director of Green Award. Lazlo then added the TransMatch logo sign to the extensive wall of logo signs of all Green Award incentive providers.
TransMatch specializes in transporting dry bulk cargoes such as grains, animal feed, fertilizers, and coal. With its own shipping facility and a permanent fleet of ships ranging from 500 to 4,000 tons, the company offers reliable transport solutions. With inland shipping as the most sustainable mode of transport, TransMatch contributes to lower CO2 emissions and eases traffic pressure on the roads.
Jan Fransen: “The growing interest in sustainability in surrounding countries is clearly noticeable. This is why we are delighted with the entry of TransMatch, a Belgian partner that has close ties with inland waterway entrepreneurs and values sustainability. A perfect match!”
Lazlo Albrecht: “Transport by water is not only sustainable, but also more cost-efficient than other forms of transport. By encouraging our vessels to obtain the Green Award certification, we seamlessly connect to the growing need for corporate social responsibility and environmentally friendly transport.
