ATHENS – E.D.I.T. Automation, a company specialized in Automation Systems in the Marine & Industrial field, has become a Green Award incentive provider.

 

 

Green Award scheme promotes safety, quality and environmental awareness in the shipping industry. The Green Award certificate is a quality mark for ships that meet the highest standards, implying reduced risks and quality performance. EDIT Automation believes in keeping up to the highest standards and will support Green Award certificate holders by providing incentives.

E.D.I.T. undertakes projects regarding the manufacture, repairs and sales of marine & industrial automation systems, as well as sales, maintenance and calibration of marine environmental protection systems complying to the latest regulations aboard vessels
and offshore facilities
all over the world. In addition to all the above, EDIT provides training on the use of automation and environmental protection systems to crew and shore personnel.

On 06 December, 2017, Green Award Chairman Mr Dimitrios Mattheou and Executive Director Mr Jan Fransen handed a symbolic Green Award plaque to Mr Markos A. Sigalas Managing Director of E.D.I.T. Automation marking the moment they officially became a member of the Green Award network as an incentive provider.

To ensure further promotion of high safety standards, E.D.I.T. Automation will provide discounts up to 30% on various products and services to Green Award certificate holders. Amongst the services will be replacement of any Oil Content Meter complying with MEPC60 (33)Regulation, with new unit FOCAS 15ppm Oil Content Meter by FELLOW KOGYO, complying with MEPC 107 (49)Regulation as well as various units that comply with International Regulations for 14001 such as paperless recorders CMC 99 & 141 by SIMEX , as and inspections, services, repairs, calibrations of Automation Systems, in vessels’ annual survey or vessels’ dry dock and many others.
