World Maritime Day 2020 – Sustainable shipping for a sustainable planet!

Today is 2020 World Maritime Day by IMO! This yearโ€™s theme is ๐’๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ซ ๐š ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ง๐š๐›๐ฅ๐ž ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ž๐ญ!

Did you know that the Green Award ship certification program is consistent to 12 SDGs with 200+ questions directly linked to one or more Goals and Targets?

In our 2020 released requirements, Goal 5 was added to the list as our target promoting and creating awareness on an improved environment for women in maritime.

This week also marks the 5th anniversary since the SDGs were launched.
