Our Executive Director Jan Fransen was the Chair Judge for the 2023 edition that took place specifically for the Greek market. For this year, the nominations are open to the international shipping market.
Every aspect included in the requirements to obtain the Green Award ship certification relates to the ESG (Environment, Social, Governance), for both our seagoing and inland shipping programmes.
The ships, owners, managers, and operators that have achieved the Green Award certification have already been addressing them for many years.
